Willow Creek flows out of Fandango Valley into the east side of Goose Lake. Primarily on private land, Willow Creek is an important spawning stream of the Goose Lake redband trout and other species endemic to the Goose Lake Basin. Channelized decades ago to increase land available for agricultural use, private landowners are now looking to improve riparian conditions on Willow Creek. Current plans are to fence this portion of Willow Creek to allow instream recovery and increase the amount of willows.
