Curt Talbott is an avid waterfowler. So when he retired to Modoc County, he began a program of wetland enhancement and riparian protection to improve wildlife habitat on his ranch. Besides the obvious benefits to wildlife, Curt sees these improvements as a means to help himself and his community address water quality concerns and prevent the imposition of new regulations. Today, Curts previous work with Modoc National Wildlife Refuge is being followed by new projects in cooperation with the Central Modoc Resource Conservation District (RCD).
